The bachelor thesis explores the use of randomness as a creative method and raises questions about freedom of choice. We have constructed a communicative minefield, but we cannot escape the omnipresent landmine of randomness. Randomness? God does not play dice! When events lack a rational connection for humans, they perceive them as random. Within a complex world that we do not control, events quickly mutate into a biblical plague. The overarching concept, whether the system represents freedom and if randomness is a natural component for communication, is the focus of aesthetic conception. This is why all visual aesthetics were generated using a grid system and a lava lamp as a random generator.
