The master's thesis explores light and sound design as visual elements of corporate identity. The advancing digitization and widespread use of smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices have led to a continuous inundation of people with visual information. Social media platforms, websites, advertisements, and instant messaging services are just a few examples of the sources constantly delivering visual content to us. This constant visual overload can negatively impact our cognitive performance, concentration, and well-being, leading to sensory overload where we feel overwhelmed and stressed. As a result, perception becomes challenging, and design may be perceived as vulgar. However, how can we counteract this process? By establishing a subjective reference point.
